Abstract:

Government Services Available to Civil Engineers aims to lead an enquiring engineer quickly to a direct point of contact with the Federal Bureau that is equipped to deal with him/her. This manual indicates where specific information may be obtained; the organization diagrams, showing departments, bureaus, divisions, and sections, indicate the general information that may be obtained from the various branches. As implied by its title, this manual is intended to include only those government departments whose functions the civil engineer can use in the practice of his/her profession.
