Abstract:

This report is primarily concerned with failures, accidents, damage during construction, and major repairs relating to dams in the USA. The purpose of this report is to present available data, analyze data from the questionnaire with respect to type of incident, frequency, and trend, and to develop conclusions and recommendations about dam incidents. It presents a series of tables, figures, and professional commentary in order to correct dam failures.
