This paper presents a systematic method of analysis whereby the bending moment, shear, axial force, and deformation of a pipe subjected to an arbitrary load and reaction may be obtained without complex computation or approximation. The method proceeds by superimposing an arbitrary load system upon an arbitrarily reaction system and relieving the constraints common to both systems. Several tables are given which greatly simplify calculations.
