Certain unique features of the bus and rail transit system of Chennai City are presented. These features are related to the aspects concerning the development, operation and management of the systems. It primarily deals with the notable management and operational aspects of the bus transit system, then deals with certain important aspects related to the development of the new MRTS in the city.
