Abstract:

This proceedings, Environmental Engineering 1999, contains summaries of papers presented at the 1999 National Conference on Environmental Engineering helf in Norolk, Virgina, July 25?28, 1999. The conference papers address a wide range of topics including risk assessment and management, environmental system modeling, biological nutrient removal wastewater treatment processes, membrane applications and fouling, innovative biological and physicochemical soil and groundwater remediation processes, sludge (biosolids) treatment and transport, and copper discharges to estuarine systems.
