Abstract:

For all types of design/build projects, a close cooperative relationship is required among the various stakeholders involved in the project. For hazardous waste cleanup design/build projects, however, the interrelationships must be even stronger, with common goals set to that the project is driven to remediation and closure. A brief review of the various roles of participants on design/build projects is followed by some real hazardous waste cleanup project examples where various types of project teams and organizations have been formed.
