Abstract:

Assessment of the thermal discharge impact upon the environment and design of the appropriate discharge structure necessitate a range of data activities, from extensive field measurements, numerical evaluation, to scaled model testing and on-line monitoring applications. These data requirements can often be better coordinated to achieve improved effectiveness in the application management. This paper presents an overview to the data categorization and data object classification to support the thermal discharge evaluation projects.
