Abstract:

Water use in the San Diego region was studied using historical records collected over a period of a half century. The results indicated that the water use in this region was historically predominated by regional economic conditions and personal wealth. The secondary variation of the regional water use were also found to be influenced by local climate condition. Statistical relationship between per capita water use and affecting factors was also developed using multiple regression technique.
