Abstract:

A 3-D groundwater flow model was developed to study the hydrology of groundwater-fed wetlands. Initial model results, including steady and unsteady simulations, compare well with existing field data. The model promises to be a powerful tool for analyzing the system dynamics, estimating the water budget and the water table hydrograph, and organizing field data.
