CHEMFLO Modeling of Aquifer Bioremediation in Vadose Zone

by Avdhesh K. Tyagi, (F.ASCE),

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: North American Water and Environment Congress & Destructive Water

Abstract:

This paper deals with bioremediation in the vadose zone with an emphasis on using numerical models as a tool to ensure that the concentration of nutrients is maintained at a required level. That is needed so that the existing in-situ microbes can grow and consume existing contaminants in the soil.
