Effects of Ignoring Well Losses on the Specific Capacity Function

This paper combines these equations with the traditional step-drawdown equation to generate a more realistic relationship among discharge, specific capacity, and drawdown. Under both confined and unconfined conditions, the relationships are non-linear. Understanding this may assist in a more cost effective well design.
