Abstract:

The Eastside Reservoir is currently being constructed near Hemet, California, by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. When completed in 1999, water will enter and be drafted from the reservoir through the Inlet/Outlet tower. In this presentation the tower configuration, operating features, hydraulic modeling, and structural design concept are described.
