Abstract:

In 1983, Puget Sound Power and Light Company (Puget Power) proposed in a license application to FERC for the overall White River Project replacement of the existing fish screens constructed in 1938. In 1992, a technical committee was formed with the state and federal fishery agencies to further develop the related facility design parameters. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the planning and hydraulic modeling effort to support the design of the fish screen facility for the White River Project.
