Abstract:

Technical Engineering and Design Guides, as adapted from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, No. 14.

This manual provides procedures, minimum accuracy requirements, instrumentation and equipment requirements, and quality control criteria for photogrammetric mapping. Topics include aerial photography and standard line mapping products, including digital spatial data for use in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems.

This manual should be used as a guide in planning mapping requirements, developing contract specifications, and preparing cost estimates for all phases of aerial photography and photogrammetric mapping. Throughout the manual, photogrammetric mapping criteria standards are given in specific terms and normally summarized in tables; methodologies are discussed in more general terms.

Subject Headings: Mapping | Photogrammetry | Computer aided design | Spatial data | Aerial photography | Quality control | Instrumentation
