Abstract:

This book, Urban Drainage Rehabilitation Programs and Techniques, is a collection of conference papers presented at technical sessions sponsored by the Task Committee on Urban Drainage Rehabilitation Programs and Techniques, Water Resources Planning and Management Division, ASCE from 1988 through 1993. The selected papers were peer-reviewed and expanded by the authors. They are divided into five basic areas of interest: 1) Overviews of urban systems; 2) planning and modeling systems; 3) actual programs; 4) techniques; and 5) case studies. The papers cover such topics as: 1) Simulation model verification; 2) failure modes for sewers; 3) local sewer rehabilitation; 4) trenchless sewer system rehabilitation; and 5) utilization of infrared thermography. The papers primarily focus on sewer rehabilitation with some discussion of channel and reservoir rehabilitation.
