Abstract:

Computational hydraulics deals with methods and techniques for the numerical simulation of water flows in natural or man-made systems with the aid of computers. Flow and transport modeling is supported by a variety of computer tools, e.g. methods and systems for automated data acquisition, computer graphics, statistical analysis methods, and electronic databases and spreadsheets used for data storage and manipulation, to facilitate the study of hydraulic problems.
