Abstract:

The advanced use of pen computers for insurance claim damage assessment and settlement are explored. The advantages of implementing such a paperless approach to insurance claim settlements and the usefulness of the various peripherals available for the pen computer are explored. The peripherals used and discussed in this study include a Global Positioning System device, a digital camera; and a cellular phone/fax/modern.
