Abstract:

This paper discusses important factors of BPR as it is related to the use of information technology in the E&C industry. It then presents an industry value chain model from the perspective of an industrial plant owner/operator, who is the customer of turnkey E&C contractor. This model shows the relationships, needs and values of the stakeholders in the values chain.
