Abstract:

An outline of an Expert System (ES) that aids in selecting adsorption isotherms is presented. Such an ES provides an efficient technique for screening the present literature. The ES helps in deriving general adsorption equilibrium equations that embody the effect of many factors influencing adsorption capacity. Besides the advantages of the present ES, limitations are discussed and few recommendations are also made.
