Abstract:

Environmental impact assessment studies cover a number of activities for: data collection, data analysis, numerical modeling, system monitoring, and regulation compliance. The diversified system conditions and application needs warrant a systematic approach in the overall problems. An information approach with emphasis using object-oriented techniques to assess the current problems is given in this paper.
