Abstract:

The Corps of Engineers is conducting a study of alternative water control plans for the exiting Missouri River Mainstem System. Data on the effects of the alternatives on the various project purposes must be identified to be able to understand the tradeoffs, compatibilities, and conflicts before a preferred alternative for future operations can be selected. This paper summarizes the analysis process that was implemented as part of the Missouri River Master Manual Study to facilitate the formulation and analysis of operations alternatives.
