Abstract:

The thinning must be enforced for healthy development of an artificial forest. The most effective use of thinning lumber is construct of the space truss structure. This election systems can be composed a roof-plate structure of a large span buildings with small section lumbers. The buildings of this report have been constructed in Aich-Prefecture Toei-Cho, Japan in 1991. Purpose of this facility is a forestry promotion, those are composed of three facility buildings. Scale of this buildings are differ but structural system has a same mechanism design, that is the cable stayed roof suspended from a independence big lumber column/pole.
