Abstract:

The first part of the paper deals with a simplified overall review of water flows. Laminar versus turbulent, visualization of flow with unsteady 3-D manner and some typical hydraulic structures and energy dissipators. Slide show is a major emphasis in this part. The second part stresses on selection and evaluation in modelling and managing river flows.
