The Concept of Local Euler Number as an Aid for Sizing Pitot Tubes

Correlations with drag coefficients enable determining the relations between the form of Pitot tubes and their velocity coefficients. A numerical example is presented to clear the use of a methodology of analysis which can constitute a helpful tool for designing instruments or checking calibration results.
