Abstract:

Motion of sediment grains in the deposition process from debris flow on a gentle and wide slope was examined. A model of the deposition was presented on the basis of an analysis of grain motion. With this model bed change due to the deposition was calculated. It was found that a concave bed configuration is produced along the main flow on the slope.
