Abstract:

The Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) is developing next generation computer models to replace those in current use. The next generation Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) is an object oriented model with a graphical user interface that will encompass the most used modeling algorithms of its predecessor HEC-1, and provide new engineering algorithms for hydrologic analysis.
