Abstract:

Effective simulation-based training for Transportation Management Center (TMC) operators enables operators to make the best use of their TMC and thereby to improve the efficiency and safety of the existing highway system. Preparing of an effective training program requires a thorough site investigation, an appropriately configured and equipped simulation facility, a library of training scenarios, instructors with field experience, and the appropriate curricula.
