Abstract:

Terminal reliability and travel time reliability of road networks are proposed as new indicators for road network management and construction. First, the significance of road network management and construction. The propagation mechanism of OD flow variation to link flow variation is clarified, and the reliability analyses before and after the introduction to traffic management are demonstrated for an actual road network.
