Abstract:

The general contour of the Russian Black sea Coast was formed during the last transgression. Definite dependence can be treated between the modern coastline configuration and transformations of Flysch measure structure. The modern coast is composed mostly of Upper Cretaceous and Lower Tertiary Flysch series. Abrasion is the dominating process of coast development.
