Abstract:

The calculation scheme and expressions are suggested for flow power of universal nature which expresses the flow capacity such that the sediment transport is proportional to the flow longitudinal component. These expressions permit to solve various problems of shore protection, in particular, design of beaches with preset parameters and strength, determination of beach stability on rocky bay coasts.
