Abstract:

When studying modern coastal and river-issue processes and comparing last century and modern maps some regularities were revealed. River arms, which are upstream the longitudinal sediment flow, in due course become the main ones; and those, which are downstream, die off. It is connected with the modern global sea-level rise. Elucidated peculiarity of modern river issue processes must be taken into consideration when economic activity in river mouths is planned.
