Abstract:

A reconstruction of the Kolkhida coastline evolution during one of the thermal maximum in Holocene was made on the basis of geological data. These data are taken as a principle in calculation of coast retreat in case of global sea level rise. Calculations, made with the help of one of the Brunn Rules, showed that the maximum of the Kolkhide coast retreat in case of a possible greenhouse effect would be about 200m.
