Abstract:

Through this model investigation of the Miura Peninsula, it was found that collection of various kinds of coastal zone geographical information in the format of a CZCT is useful for understanding the characteristics of each coastal zone. The Ministry of Construction plans to systematically compile coastal zone information obtained by this method in the form of a manual, so as to develop guidelines for coastal zone use. It is now preparing a COASTAL ZONE AMENITY INFORMATION MAP, that will present this coastal zone information intelligibly for the general public.
