Abstract:

This paper presents an introduction of the study for the design and technical development of a newly proposed guideway structure for the superconductive magnetically levitated train system (Maglev). The design concept of the new guideway which combined twin precast prestressed concrete beams and infrastructures, and the dynamic study of guideway for the ultrahigh-speed vehicle are discussed.
