Abstract:

For the construction of a new line for high speed traffic, a series of technical, commercial and economic studies must be carried out for each of the parts of the planning stage: the feasibility study, the pre-project and the construction project. The purpose of this report is to describe the experience obtained during the execution of these studies; to specify the level of precision obtained regarding the proposed route and the cost of the line with the different working scales (1:25,000 in the feasibility study; 1:5000 in the pre-project and 1:1000 in the construction project).
