Abstract:

The characteristics of Gauss Numerical Integration Method are the unequal distance between nodes and fairly high accuracy. When the number of nodes is n, the algebraic accuracy can be 2n-1 power. For example, if n is three, the quadrature formula will be accurate to any five power multinomial. In the Arch Dam Trial-load Method Programme, the writer applies Three-node Gauss Numerical Integration Method to calculate the deflection coefficients of the arch and the beam and gets good results.
