Abstract:

This paper describes the development of state-of-the-art traffic simulation software powerful enough to support a wide range of testbed experiments related to Advanced Traffic Management and Information Systems (ATMIS) deployment in California. The discussion focuses on the identification of selection criteria and the application of these criteria to software development.
