Abstract:

This is a report concerning personal computer utilization such as CAD and spreadsheets which are often used establish the investigation, analysis and evaluation method. These are based on the actual investigations of a city hall which were conducted through a POE (Post-Occupancy Evaluation) method. The actual work period was about 3 months which is rather short and we are now just starting the investigation and analysis. A city hall built in 1929 was the object of the investigation. POE has been introduced through various publications as a method of analysis and evaluation of a building in use. In Japan, it is translated as an 'evaluation method after the beginning of habitation' and is predicted as a tool which may be useful in many fields.
