Abstract:

The Federal Highway Administration plans to design and construct a new bridge over the Ohio River near Owensboro Kentucky. A hydraulic model with two-dimensional capabilities was utilized. A hydraulic analysis was accomplished in three phases.This paper presents the formulation and simulation of the alternative bridge configurations envisioned.
