Abstract:

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) has taken advantage of recent advances in object oriented programming to build a flexible input and output model of its water supply system. All interested parties were involved in model building. The result has been quick evaluation of the impacts of decisions and timely building of consensus among the parties involved.
