Abstract:

Temperature impacts are among the most common and most expensive environmental issues requiring mitigation at water projects. Several emerging environmental and regulatory concerns and issues are likely to focus additional attention on temperature. The purposes of this paper are to review current water temperature issues and mitigation methods, to identify new and future temperature issues, and to identify research needs.
