Abstract:

Nearly 15 years of experience demonstrates that steel reinforcing fibers in shotcrete offer considerable advantages to all end-users: designers, contractors and owners. These include demonstrable economies of scale associated with the reduction or elimination of conventional, labor-intensive reinforcement methods - without sacrificing the performance parameters specified for the finished installation.
