Abstract:

Full-scale measurements have been carried out on an experimental building, 3.3 m high, beside the football field at the Loyola campus of Concordia University. Wind-induced pressures have been measured on roof corner points and results have been compared with wind-tunnel data. The effect of parapets on roof corner local suctions has been examined in detail.
