Abstract:

Dynamic characteristic models, representing average high-rise building structures in Japan, have been established through the regression analyses utilizing review documents of seismic safety of the high -rise buildings in Japan. And then taking the example of RC structures, behaviors of earthquake response in linear and non-linear ranges have been analyzed applying a new concept of synthetic earthquake motion.
