Abstract:

Since the early 1960's, an extensive research and development has been carried out with fiber reinforced cements and concretes. Modeling of such heterogeneous material is still in the development stage. This paper presents an overview of current research in this area. Specifically, development in the area of modeling the material behavior using stochastic formulation is presented and discussed.
