Abstract:

The San Luis Obispo Air Pollution Control District has developed simple techniques to estimate emission reductions from various Transportation Control Measures. Accurate emission estimates depend on reliable transportation data. Gathering necessary transportation data is a difficult and time-consuming task and should be planned well in advance. A technique for calculating the costs and benefits of these controls is also presented.
