Abstract:

The Corps of Engineers Research and Development Directorate has identified Mission to Planet Earth Initiative as of possible interest in supporting the non-tactical missions of the Army Corps of Engineers. A Task Force has been formed to investigate the potential areas of overlapping interest between the agencies participating in this initiative, with emphasis on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The format of the investigations and the preliminary results are outlined in this paper.
