Abstract:

The new stereoscopic measurement approach is discussed in this paper. The objective of this paper is not intended to present another new videologging system. Instead, this paper is to present a stereoscopic measuring capability which can be easily added to the existing videolog system with minor modification. Preliminary analysis results show that this stereoscopic measurement technique can be applied for measuring roadside features with a reasonable accuracy.
