Abstract:

In this paper, the failure mode of buried pipeline is established considering such main factors as the slippage between pipe and soil, non-uniformity subsurface layer, and the stress concentration at the joint of juncture, etc, Monte Carlo algorithm is used to generate a sample to simulate the states of damage for the water transmission network, and to find the fragile links of the network and to calculate the hydraulic reliability of user. Optimum recovery route is searched and effective method of damage estimation and reinforcing countermeasure of earthquake resistance for water supply system are given.
