Abstract:

This paper summarizes a report that provides an inventory of concentrated water and sewage facilities in two selected drainage basins in the City of Portland. Concentrated facilities include pump stations, storages, and treatment plants. Seismic hazards at each facility are identified. Present values of each facility are estimated using original construction data when available. Facilities are segregated into 17 categories. Loss curves are developed for each category and in some cases sub-category. Loss curves are then multiplied by the present values arriving at the estimated losses for each facility for a given intensity.
